a productive workshop, or just an opportunity to retreat and relax, Meander In is the spot.

Your Alaskan Adventure is only limited by your imagination. Choose from the following venues.
Your itinerary is up to you.
River Fishing – This is one of the jewels of the Kenai Peninsula. At almost any time during the season,
there is great fishing somewhere. As avid anglers ourselves, we know when, where, and how to. Need a guide? Need to be outfitted?
Just want to go fishing with someone? We cater to our guests who visit the area to enjoy this bountiful resource
A Day of DeepSea Fishing Deep Sea Fishing in Cook Inlet saltwater for Halibut, or trolling for King and
Silver salmon near shore, offers some of the most consistent good to great fishing anywhere in Alaska. We proudly support a network
of professional guides and marine captains who will provide a great fishing experience which is both fun and safe.
Clamming Adventures. If you book with us during one of our series of low tides, you’re in luck! Ninilchik is heralded as the Razor Clam Capitol of the world. A
guided trip to one of our sandy beaches is more than digging for clams. It is an adventure! “They are quick! They are illusive!” On extremely low tides, many of
the fishing charters whom we work with, offer an alternative to the local “nitty gritty” clamming adventure….take a trip down to Homer and boat across beautiful
Kachemak Bay, viewing otters and puffins on the way to the rocky beaches of Sadie Cove, to rake for steamers and butter clams. Just a little garlic butter is all you
need.
With either excursion, coming home to clean your harvest is when the real party begins!!!
Beach Tours. Searching for quiet time on a secluded beach, or that Kodak moment with a clan of Bald Eagles? The shoreline access from Ninilchik and Deep
Creek offers a dramatic panorama of the Alaska Peninsula, Mt Augustine, Mt Illiamna, and Mt Redoubt Volcanoes. Cook Inlet Beaches see some of the most
extreme tide changes in the world, which constantly reveal new treasures buried in the sand below our towering bluffs. Anytime of day, our beaches call out to be
explored Take an invigorating trip with us to go beachcombing, birdwatching, observe the fishing fleet working near shore, or just to watch a magnificent sunset
from the comfort of our bonfire. We can put it in 4wheel drive and take you there.
Touring Homer. Located just under an hour from our home, Homer offers a beautiful sight-seeing drive, one of the biggest eagle populations, galleries, gift shops,
eateries, a wonderful museum, and the largest boat harbor on Cook Inlet. Our knowledge of the area and which stops are a must, can help to make the most of
your trip to the “End of the Road”.
End of the Road. This cannot be seen from Meander In. We, as your hosts and guides, invite you to explore it all. As we have said, let your imagination be your
guide to what is beyond the end of the road…..The far shores of Kachemak Bay or the Alaska Peninsula are within your reach from here. We welcome the
opportunity to share with you more than just our home, and encourage you to sample not only the venues we are capable of offering as recreation, but to experience
the reasons why we live here.
Many of our opportunities to serve you are spontaneous or seasonal, available for short windows of time.
So, Please plan ahead as much as possible, make reservations, and let us help you have a truly Alaskan Experience.
